Our client is a dynamic and medium size IT company based in Luxembourg specialized in IT infrastructure services & B2B solutions.

Their customer base includes Public Institutions, Banks, Financial and Industrial companies. They advise companies on setting up their IT Infrastructures and they provide support on Datacenters solutions.

Due to their ongoing development, we are delighted to assist them in recruiting an Oracle DBA.

Position

  • Design, plan and implement processes and procedures that facilitate best practices for the use of databases.
  • Address and resolve access and database performance issues.
  • Database monitoring, analysis of operations and processes.
  • Security and management of users, management of control levels and access rights (password reset, account unlock, …).
  • Design, planning, implementation, and support for high availability, disaster recovery, and related database testing.
  • Maintenance of database software, plan and coordinate patches, updates and software upgrades.
  • Develop and enforce strict adherence to the procedures for checking and testing database changes.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Profile

  • You have 5 years of experience in a similar function. 

  • You are have a good level in both English and French.

  • Experience as an Oracle DBA supporting 11g or 12c versions of the Oracle database.

  • You are rigorous, responsive and curious.

  • Customer satisfaction, autonomy, and a sense of initiative are values that you share.

  • You have a university degree in computer science.
