Our client is a global information technology provider based in US and Europe. With more than 6000 employees worldwide the company is recognized as a leading company in hybrid cloud software solutions, license consulting services and digital workspace solutions. Our client is currently looking for an Executive Account Manager who will be responsible for the Luxembourgish and Wallonia market.


The Executive Account Manager will be accountable for the strategic business relationship across a portfolio of named accounts. The Executive AM is expected to focus on extending the footprint within the allocated and new clients and delivering positive progression through the value chain whilst developing senior business relationships. The ultimate goal is to embed clients and become a respected business partner.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Managing both Luxembourg and Wallonia market.
  • Working closely with your allocated Internal Sales Consultant.
  • Developing and presenting an annual business plan for an assigned client portfolio. Creating and effectively managing strategic account plans.
  • Utilising strategic account management techniques to channel development focus.
  • Productive collaboration with cross‐functional, virtual teams to support solution sales.
  • Building relationships with key and emerging technology partners.
  • Running direct and virtual account teams across multiple clients.
  • Shaping and clearly articulating the relevance of the company value proposition. Early identification of the client need, and solution alignment of company Products & Services.
  • Achieving and exceeding revenue and profit based targets.
  • Managing and maintaining an accurate system based sales pipeline.
  • Production and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual profit based forecasts.


  • Relevant experience (5 to 10 years) with proven consultative and solution sales experience in technology (services, software or hardware), with evidence of prior success and consistent overachievement of sales targets.
  • Demonstrable success of operating within an account team environment and effective engagement of virtual teams.
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into the business.
  • Experience of responding to, and influencing the creation of RFPs.
  • Ability to prospect and manage C‐level and senior level relationships within the Luxembourgish and Wallonia market.
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, sales acumen.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial and performance data; P&L, cost of sale, budget, leasing, metrics and scorecards.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centres and experience of working closely with procurement professionals.
  • Excellent written and oral/presentation skills.
  • Fluent level in French and in English.
