Our client is a well-known automotive German brand. We currently have an exclusive assignment to assist our client in a search and selection process related to a General Manager for a Car Dealership based in Luxembourg. Our client is open to consider a professional background from other industries (service, industry, …).


You ensure the team delivers excellent services to support the corporate customers with their car fleet strategy and the individual customers in offering them a great new or used cars acquisition experience.

You will be in charge of the development of the company’s local strategy and growth plans on and within the framework and support of the group strategy.

You will be responsible for managing a profitable and sustainable business in terms of portfolio growth, profit margins and maximum service penetration.

You will be responsible for:

  • P&L management and financial controlling.
  • Management of a highly motivated team of more than 80 people including:
    • Sales team of 30 sales executive and 2 Sales Managers
    • Marketing, Accounting and Administration
    • Technical staff
  • Coordination of marketing activities; develop customer events and sales & marketing campaigns.
  • Relationship management with local business communities from different sectors.

You proactively draw attention to, interpret and respond to the effects of all developments in the market and among competitors and advise the management team on the actions to be taken.


You have a Bachelor or Master degree preferably in Economics.

You have a minimum of ten years experience in a leadership or executive manager position in the service or industrial sector. A professional background in automotive is a plus but is not mandatory.

You have a proven track record in a sales environment.

You have an extensive knowledge of budgeting, business operations and strategic planning.

You have a significant professional management and leadership experience and a proven track record of developing, mentoring and leading people.

You are fluent in German and English; any other language such as French or Luxembourgish will be considered as a significant advantage.
