Our client is a Logistics and Supply Chain Services Provider based in Luxembourg with an international footprint. We are delighted to share our exclusive assignment to recruit a Ground Handling Operations Director.

Position

Ensuring the safe, reliable and economic completion of all ground operations according to the regulations and industry standards.

Managing the ground operations procedures and policies and related revisions.

Monitoring the ground operations from a technical and operational point of view and initiating corrective measures if necessary.

Representing the company in his specific field of competence towards authorities, manufacturers, organizations and service providers.

Representing as nominated person, the company in discussions and negotiations with the authorities in all safety and security matters related to ground operations.

Manage the commercial relationship with all customers for ground handling operations in Luxembourg.

Budget planning in the frame of ground operations.

Lead as sponsor some business unit strategic projects.

Profile

You have a university degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics or Economics.

You offer at least 10 to 15 years years of experience in the area of logistics and especially in a ground handling service provider.

You provide a very good knowledge of ground handling specific processes and technologies.

As a recognized leader, you have strong people management skills (>250 people in different business units), you are able to manage employees in an efficient, very professional and motivating way of working.

You have strong analytical skills and you feel comfortable to drive change management strategies on a mid-term basis.

Languages skills: English and French are required.
