Our client is a well-known law firm active in Luxembourg since more than 25 years. The company provides a large scope of legal services in commercial, corporate, IP, banking, investment funds law.

We are currently looking for an IT Helpdesk Officer (m-f).

Position

As a Helpdesk officer, you will serve as the first point of contact for internal customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email, perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions and determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Software update;
  • End users support and assistance, keeping them informed of progress;
  • Infrastructure management;
  • Configuration and set-up;
  • Provide excellent customer service to IT users.

You will report to the IT Manager and will be part of a small team.

Profile

  • Bachelor degree in IT or similar education;
  • +2 years of professional experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Windows/Office/Apple environments are required with a strong understanding of the principles of networking and internet technologies and all types of mobile devices;
  • Ability to work effectively in a demanding environment by providing high standards of work;
  • Relevant organisational skills and effective time management;  
  • Great interpersonal skills in interacting with people at all levels of the organisation and in a team;
  • Customer focused and solution finder with a professional and pro-active attitude. 
  • A fluency in French with a decent level in English is required for this role.
