Our client here in Luxembourg is looking to reinforce its HR Team and is recruiting a Payroll Officer. As part of the HR Department, you will work on all monthly payroll activities and you will focus on labour law related tasks, but you could be involved in other HR related activities.


  • Prepare the monthly payroll and prepare the monthly payments (instructions),
  • Collect all necessary information to maintain and update the HR system,
  • Register tax card ‘s and update salary changes,
  • Responsible for all declaration to the various authorities (CCSS, tax, …),
  • Setting up of new entities (bank accounts, KYC doc’s…) 
  • Point of contact for staff requests and any questions,
  • Monitor maternity leaves and parental leaves and manage all related correspondence with employees,
  • Monitor paternity leave and manage the process of reimbursement,
  • Calculation and updates of holiday balances,
  • Assist the team in in all year-end process related tasks,
  • HR projects



  • Degree in administration or HR and first proven experience in payroll administration and local labour law,
  • Fluent in French in English and excellent communication skills in written and verbal,
  • Detail oriented, well organized and ensure that confidentiality is met all the time,
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to work independently,
  • Ability to work on several tasks at the same time in a fast-paced environment,
  • Positive attitude, hands on approach and taking ownership.


You will join a small and kind HR team of 6 and you will work in an international environment with a lot of interesting tasks regarding the payroll process and labour issues.
