Our client is a young, innovative start-up in the field of mobile/online payment. Due to their ongoing development, we are looking for a Risk Analyst to join their team. 

Position

  • Daily check of all transactions highlighted by the system to be suspicious according to the working schedule assigned by the manager
  • Review and analyze various notifications and escalations to identify and investigate fraudulent transactions.
  • Cover KYC processes as per manual for consumers and merchants
  • Liaise on permanent basis with Customer Service team and/or Accounting team to give timely feedback to customers
  • Ensure the update of departmental files (hard and soft) and the maintenance of fraud databases 
  • Pro-active and timely work out of ad hoc assigned tasks and projects 
  • Participate in the creation and/or review of risk management policies
  • Ensure the respect of the regulatory and legal aspects

Profile

  • Detail oriented, strong critical thinking skills with advanced judgment capability
  • Experience in transaction risk, merchant or payer fraud
  • Experience in various KYC and fraud management tools
  • Experience interacting with customers and different departments (IT security, Customer service, Accounting)
  • Extensive multi-tasking and prioritization skills, has a entrepreneurial personality
  • Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or in any other relevant field
  • Work effectively with team members and partners by communicating fraud trends and sharing ideas and knowledge in a constructive and positive manner
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement and build effective networks to ensure the application of best practices
  • Fluent in English, German will be considered an asset
