Our client is one of the leading international banks with the European branch in Luxembourg, and we are happy to announce a new job opening – a Senior IT Administrator who will support the IT environment of the branch by conducting daily maintenance, administration, and technical support and ensuring major IT applications, infrastructure, and services are performing within the agreed service levels and meet the needs of the business.


  • Responsible for the following application system support and administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, problem-solving, user training, system changing, etc.

    • User-end support and administration of Head Office developed applications (core banking system, internal reports system, blacklist scan system, SWIFT message system, etc.)
    • Server-end and user-end support and administration of locally developed applications (anti-money laundering system, Regulatory reports system, etc.)
    • User-end support and administration of local Internet business tools (reports sending system, Routers/Bloomberg terminals, etc.)
  • Responsible for IT projects management, including multi-counterparty coordination, requirement specification, UAT, deployment, problem-solving, progress report and risk control, etc.
  • Responsible for IT application user and logical access permission management.
  • Responsible for IT application related integrated and advanced work, including procedure development, budget enforcement, BCP/DRP, audit acceptance, working summary report and documentation, etc.
  • Assist other IT team members, in case of an absence, on the following topics:
    • IT infrastructure administration, covering network, server, storage, IT room, etc.
    • IT helpdesk service, covering PC, printers, telephony, emails, file server, etc.
    • Assist in other IT operation, support and administrative duties as assigned in the backup role.


  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as an IT administrator, preferably in banking domain;
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant subjects;
  • Excellent command of English;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills within a multicultural environment;
  • Advanced analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn fast and thrive in a fast-moving environment;
