Customer Service Representative (German & English) – Fixed-term contract (m/f)
Company
Our client operates in the industrial sector and is based in several countries around the globe. We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative (m/f) who is reporting to the Customer Service Manager.
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for the interface between the customers and the company through various departments.
The CSR is in charge of order management, correspondence and customer satisfaction.
Position
- Processes all sales orders, based on customer’s request, by liaising availability, delivery, lead-time and pricing;
- Acts as a link between the customers, plants and Sales Representatives to ensure all sales order special requirements are met;
- Makes daily follow-up of open orders to ensure on-time deliveries;
- Prepares orders for invoicing after shipments;
- Takes action on all customer complaints and requests for service, make sure the customer’s problem is reconciled promptly and satisfactorily;
- Performs other duties and special projects as requested by the manager.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Trade Relations or similar area;
- Previous experience in a position with client contact;
- Service, quality and customer satisfaction focused
- Fluent in German and English; French knowledge is an advantage;
- Good organisational and communication skills;
- Excellent telephone and written (emails) communication skills;
- Self-confident, courteous, able to tactfully handle various personalities and problems;
- Microsoft Office : Outlook, Excel, Word;
