In this context, our client is recruiting a Head of Full- Stack Development Function
Position
- Provides strategic recommendations to the Head of Department and their deputy to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the development teams
- Leads and oversees the division’s activities and projects within the technology and business solutions domain.
- Leads and manages Full-Stack development teams specializing in financial sector applications, providing advice, support, and mentoring to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Follows project management processes, including estimating, capacity planning, macro and micro-planning, and day-to-day monitoring to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement within teams by following internal methodology and Agile best practices, enabling rapid responses to changing regulatory demands and market dynamics.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders, including regulators, financial institutions, and internal departments, to understand needs, prioritize projects, and ensure alignment with supervisory and strategic objectives.
- Overseeing the design, development, testing, and deployment of full-stack solutions and data analysis tools tailored to the unique needs of financial sector supervision, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks or issues, and taking proactive steps to resolve them, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
- Mentors and manages team members, ensuring their well-being, professional growth, regular feedback, coaching, and opportunities for skills development.
- Encouraging a culture of innovation and excellence within teams by promoting the exploration of new technologies and methodologies to enhance monitoring capabilities, automate processes, and improve data-driven decision-making.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with external partners, technology providers, and industry experts to leverage their expertise, resources, and best practices in full-stack development and data analytics for the financial sector.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments in the financial sector to guide strategic planning, drive innovation, and maintain a competitive edge in supervisory practices.
Profile
- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing full-stack development teams in the financial services sector.
- Solid knowledge of Java and microservices-oriented technologies, frameworks, and architectures, with experience in implementing financial applications.
- Strong project management skills with expertise in Agile methodologies, particularly in regulatory compliance and financial sector supervision. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, highly regulated environment, focusing on meeting deadlines, managing risks, and exceeding performance indicators.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams.
