Poste
As a key member to an Agile development squad, you will be involved in working with and developing diverse digital platform technologies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and effectively implementing distributed/cloud software systems.
- Collaborating with various technical and business stakeholders (both internal and external) to identify and define optimal system solutions.
- Translating business requirements into technical designs and specifications.
- Converting technical designs and specifications into functional platforms and software.
- Ensuring alignment between system implementation and requirements, leading to the delivery of operational solutions.
- Defining and maintaining operational procedures and guidelines.
- Upholding a commitment to best practices in cybersecurity, cloud data management, maintainability, and overall craftsmanship.
- Continuously learning and sharing best practices across teams, fostering benefits for the entire organization.
Profil
Our client is seeking an engineer who possesses extensive experience working with complex software systems and big data.
In particular, the following qualifications are desired:
- A minimum of 5 years of practical involvement with distributed software systems for a senior role and 2 to 3 years for a junior one.
- Proficiency in implementing security best practices within distributed environments, including network and user access.
- Strong familiarity with Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Kubernetes as a Service (KaaS) technologies, with a DevOps perspective.
- Proficient knowledge in packaging, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and administration of multiple products such as Red Hat IPA, Keycloak, OpenSSH, GitLab, Vault, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Thanos, Ansible, Terraform, Argo Flow, Dataiku, ServiceNow, BMC, JIRA ITSM, MinIO, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, MongoDB, Cassandra,
- Tyk API GW, WSO2, SpinKube, WASM runtime, ONNX runtime.
- Sound understanding of the fundamental processes of ITIL.
- Programming expertise.
- Excellent communication skills, including strong verbal and written proficiency in English.
Desirable skills and experience in any of the following areas would be highly advantageous:
- Practical knowledge of virtualization and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) technologies, such as OpenStack, ESx, or Harvester/Kubvirt
- Experience in database administration and operations.
- Expertise in cybersecurity.
- Working proficiency in French
