About Marilyn & Nicolas Hurlin

Marilyn Nicolas Hurlin
Marilyn & Nicolas are the Founding Partners of THE RECRUITER. They have created the company in December 2013 in a very competitive market with the plan of (re)introducing the best practices that reflect favourably the profession of the recruitment industry.

Nicolas and Marilyn are both specialised in Retained Executive Search assignments and bring together + 20 years of experience in recruiting managerial and expert profiles, ranging from C-suite to Senior and Middle management profiles.

Nicolas specialises in Information Technologies, Digital Transformation, Big Data management, Financial activities, Corporate Services sectors, Clean and Renewable Technologies, Business services, Commerce and Industry.

Nicolas holds a Bachelor degree in Economics & Marketing and has worked as an HR Manager for a multi-countries start-up company operating in the gaming sector where he set up the whole HR department and hired the entire team in 7 countries (Europe and Africa).

Nicolas is D.I.S.C. & MBTI certified and speaks fluently English and French.

Marilyn manages Executive Search Assignments and In-House HR projects, acting as an HR Manager for companies requiring support in their internal HR Projects and Processes (assessment, yearly performance review, HR documentation – job description, professional objectives -, coaching of managers) and conducting ad-hoc HR projects.

Marilyn holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources specialized in Labour Law from the Panthéon Assas II University of Paris and LLLC Luxembourg.

Marilyn is qualified on DISC, MBTI, Golden. Marilyn speaks fluently French & English and has knowledge of German.

Uta Sültmann is a Senior HR Consultant at The Recruiter.

Uta is a multilingual HR Professional with an in-depth knowledge of talent development, recruitment & selection and career transition through skills assessment and training advice. She holds a Master degree in cross border German-French Studies with a specialisation in economics, communication and law.

Kristel has extensive knowledge in the banking and life assurance sectors and has developed a true passion for IT recruitment.

Nina is a Talent Acquisition Consultant at THE RECRUITER in charge of recruiting professionals in different business sectors including information technology, digital and services.

Before joining THE RECRUITER, Nina completed traineeships in the European Investment Bank Luxembourg within Personnel and in the automotive sector.

Zach TRAER
Zach Traer is a Talent Acquisition Consultant at The Recruiter.

Before joining THE RECRUITER, Zach was a Consultant and Cofounder for the GoRise Consulting Group in Munich (a non profit organisation supporting students in their practical experience), while completing his MBA. He gained experience in Customer Acquisition and Business Development strategies, before going back to Canada to work in the Sports Tourism industry as a Special Projects Officer.

Zach is a graduate of the University of Roehampton (M.B.A.), and the University of Ottawa, where he studied psychology and played basketball while earning athletic scholarships for his outstanding academic achievements.

Outside of office hours, Zach pursues his passion for basketball as a member of Telstar Hesperange’s professional club.

Originally from Chelsea, Québec (Canada), Zach has two first languages: French, and English.

Prior joining THE RECRUITER, Cyrielle has worked for more than 10 years in a major group of HR services in Luxembourg in Payroll Management.
