Nicolas Hurlin
Nicolas Hurlin is the Founding Partner of The Recruiter.

He specialises in retained executive search in information technologies, digital transformation, big data management, financial activities, corporate services sectors, clean and renewable technologies, business services, commerce and industry.

Prior setting up his own company, Nicolas has developed HR management skills in working for a multi-country start-up company operating in the gaming sector where he set up the whole HR department and hired the entire team in 7 countries (Europe and Africa).

Nicolas has worked as an executive search recruiter in Luxembourg for over 15 years, having conducted research missions in many European countries and has developed the 1st professional background check service provider in Luxembourg. His career started with 3 years of experience as a Sales Representative within the media sector in France and Luxembourg.

Nicolas holds a Bachelor degree in Economics & Marketing, is certified on behavioural analysis tools such as D.I.S.C. & MBTI and speaks fluently English and French. He is delighted to bring his professional expertise in your HR projects for the success of your business.

Marilyn Hurlin

Marilyn Hurlin
Marilyn Hurlin is a Partner at THE RECRUITER.
Marilyn is in charge of outsourced HR projects including external recruitment assignments.

Prior to joining THE RECRUITER, she worked as an Executive Search Consultant in a HR boutique consulting company during 10 years before bringing her expertise to an international HR group for 3 years for which she managed Retained Executive Search assignments for positions ranging from C-levels to middle management and senior professionals in Commerce, Health, Public and Industrial sectors in Luxembourg and abroad.

Marilyn holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources with a specialization in labour law from the Panthéon Assas II University of Paris (France) and a Bachelor in Economics from the ICN Nancy Business School.

Marilyn is qualified on several behavioral analysis tools DISC, MBTI, Golden.

Zach Traer is a Talent Acquisition Consultant at The Recruiter.

Before joining THE RECRUITER, Zach was a Consultant and Cofounder for the GoRise Consulting Group in Munich (a non profit organisation supporting students in their practical experience), while completing his MBA. He gained experience in Customer Acquisition and Business Development strategies, before going back to Canada to work in the Sports Tourism industry as a Special Projects Officer.

Zach is a graduate of the University of Roehampton (M.B.A.), and the University of Ottawa, where he studied psychology and played basketball while earning athletic scholarships for his outstanding academic achievements.

Outside of office hours, Zach pursues his passion for basketball as a member of Telstar Hesperange’s professional club.
