About Marilyn & Nicolas Hurlin

Marilyn & Nicolas are the Founding Partners of THE RECRUITER. They have created the company in December 2013 in a very competitive market with the plan of (re)introducing the best practices that reflect favourably the profession of the recruitment industry.

Marilyn & Nicolas are both specialised in Retained Executive Search assignments and bring together + 20 years of experience in recruiting managerial and expert profiles, ranging from C-suite to Senior and Middle management profiles.

Nicolas is active in Information Technologies, Digital, Finance, Services, Commerce, Logistics and Industry.

Nicolas holds a Bachelor degree in Economics & Marketing and has worked as an HR Manager for a multi-countries start-up company operating in the gaming sector where he set up the whole HR department and hired the entire team in 7 countries (Europe and Africa).

Nicolas is D.I.S.C. & MBTI (level I & II) certified and speaks fluently English and French.

Marilyn manages Executive Search Assignments and In-House HR projects, acting as an HR Manager for companies requiring support in their internal HR Projects and Processes (assessment, yearly performance review, HR documentation – job description, professional objectives -, coaching of managers) and conducting ad-hoc HR projects.

Marilyn holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources specialized in Labour Law from the Panthéon Assas II University of Paris and LLLC Luxembourg.

Marilyn is qualified on DISC, MBTI, Golden. Marilyn speaks fluently French & English and has knowledge of German.

Eunice Yiu is a Talent Acquisition Consultant at The Recruiter.

Eunice joined THE RECRUITER team as a Talent Acquisition Consultant. Previously, Eunice was a recruitment coordinator in the Human Resources department in the Financial sector, notably at Clearstream.

Holding an MBA from the University of Leuven and a Bachelor in Communication, Eunice will put her professional skills at your disposal to find the best talent.

Miriam is dedicated to the background check digital platform and is involved in search & selection processes.

Miriam carried out her university studies in the UK where she studied cultural anthropology and communications as in relations to contemporary arts and culture. She has extensive experience in project development, anthropological and journalistic interview techniques, and writing.

Before joining The Recruiter, Miriam was an intern at the European Parliament in Luxembourg and developed projects for museum institutions in Italy, the UK and Latin America.

Her core HR experiences traverse across both for-profit and nonprofit organizations.

Early on in her career, Ingrid occasionally worked as a guide for adventurous worldwide travels, highlighting her international outlook. She also lived and worked for 6 years in the USA after which she moved to Luxembourg where she joined our team.

She has a special interest  in what drives people and organizations and how they can become their better self.

She is certified CoachU career-coach and a member of the international Coaching Federation.
