CREATION OF THE RECRUITER

THE RECRUITER was founded in 2013 with a simple goal: to connect businesses with talented individuals across various industries. Since then, we have focused on providing reliable recruitment services grounded in professionalism and integrity. We aimed to become a trusted partner for companies seeking effective hiring solutions, and we strive to understand each client’s unique needs to offer tailored services.

2014

A YEAR OF SUCCESS AT THE RECRUITER

We have been excited to celebrate our first anniversary with all our clients, candidates, partners, and LinkedIn followers! In our first year, we successfully completed numerous mandates for both Luxembourgish and international companies, specialising in the recruitment of project managers, sales and IT directors, software engineers, IT infrastructure architects, digital marketing specialists, and web developers.

2015

THE RECRUITER ACQUIRES DOCTOR CHEXS

By acquiring DOCTOR CHEXS, the leading professional reference-checking company in Luxembourg created in 2007, THE RECRUITER is enhancing its HR service offerings. The services provided by DOCTOR CHEXS focus on a different objective. The reference-checking service is designed for employers who manage their own recruitment processes, with DOCTOR CHEXS stepping in during the final stages of hiring. This ensures that the future employee’s CV is certified as authentic, providing reassurance to employers about their hiring decisions. While verifying academic qualifications is highly valued by employers, ensuring the accuracy of the information on a CV, along with feedback from direct managers, significantly enriches the candidate’s profile.

REBRANDING OF DOCTOR CHECKS

In 2018, DOCTOR CHECKS rebranded as Background Check, reflecting our commitment to comprehensive and reliable background verification services. By adopting the new name, Background Check aims to enhance its visibility and communicate its dedication to thorough and ethical screening processes. Our focus remains on delivering high-quality background checks that meet the evolving needs of businesses and organisations seeking to ensure the integrity and trustworthiness of their candidates.

2020

7 YEARS AND AN EXPANDED HR SERVICES OFFERING

Introducing the HR Advisory brand, now complete with a dedicated platform. THE RECRUITER has expanded its activities by diversifying into HR consulting services. The firm supports clients in developing their employees through a wide range of services, including: Assessment & Development Center, Outplacement / career transition support, In-house projects, and Coaching/Mentoring. Client loyalty during assessment days, renewed trust in internal HR missions, and the successful delivery of tailored projects—such as sector-specific salary surveys, evaluation process implementation, and audit and change management—have all contributed to the successful launch of HR Advisory.

2023

THE RECRUITER TURNS 10!

In December 2023, THE RECRUITER celebrated 10 years of expertise in human resources. To commemorate this milestone, we hosted a conference on motivation and performance featuring Olympic champion Edgar GROSPIRON, bridging the worlds of sports and business by addressing common challenges. Since its founding a decade ago, THE RECRUITER consistently positioned itself as a trusted professional in the human resources sector, offering innovative and entrepreneurial approaches. At that time, three distinct brands operated within the firm: Executive Search & Recruitment, HR Advisory, and Background Check.

2024

THE RECRUITER ACQUIRES TOMORROW JOBS

THE RECRUITER acquires Tomorrow Jobs, a company based in Nancy and Saint-Nazaire that specialises in recruiting talent for high-demand sectors such as IT, engineering, sales, and digital marketing. Founded in 2016 by Sébastien Lefevre, Tomorrow Jobs has built a solid reputation for supporting start-ups, SMEs, mid-sized enterprises, and large corporations. Known for its ability to attract top talents, the company continues to meet recruitment needs across France with a dedicated team of four recruitment consultants.
