Our client, a prominent player in the energy sectors, is looking for a Sales Manager.
The ideal candidate is experienced in managing high-performing teams of up to 10 people and cultivating a motivated workforce to achieve revenue growth, while also actively contributing to day-to-day sales activities and customer relationship management, with a focus on clients in logistics, transportation, and related sectors.
Position
- Lead the execution of tactical and strategic initiatives across all segments.
- Identify key opportunities and define the strategic direction within each business area.
- Drive a results-focused approach by prioritising high-value segments and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- Build cost-efficient, professional sales, customer service, and support teams to enhance commercial effectiveness.
- Oversee local implementation of training programs and tools to support capability development and operational excellence.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Actively engage in key sales activities, including client interactions and deal negotiations, to support the achievement of sales targets.
- Cultivate individual growth by developing talent, aligning roles with capabilities, and fostering motivation.
- Define and implement team goals and performance metrics to drive accountability and focus.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration and ensure seamless cooperation across internal teams.
- Embed a high-performance culture through structured performance management, capability enhancement, and coaching-led leadership.
- Champion continuous performance improvement across all teams, including Sales, Sales Support & Customer Service, and Sales Development.
Profile
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proven leadership skills with a structured, autonomous, and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to analyze information and integrate insights to support effective decision-making
- Excellent communication and persuasive skills.
- Proficient in current software and digital tools.
- Possesses a current Class B driving license.
- Fluent in French and English; knowledge of German and Luxembourgish is an asset
