Our client, a global leader in manufacturing with operations across Luxembourg, Europe, Asia, and the US, is seeking a Legal Advisor fluent in English and French. This role is ideal for a legal professional with a solid foundation in corporate law, along with a strong business acumen and a solution-oriented mindset. Position

 

  • Deliver expert legal guidance across diverse areas, with particular focus on corporate law, commercial contracts, labor law, IP and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with external legal advisors on complex legal matters, including intellectual property (IP)-related issues and litigation, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements, including IP licensing, confidentiality agreements (NDAs), and employment contracts, supporting the company’s broader business goals and legal compliance.
  • Perform thorough legal due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, with a focus on assessing and mitigating risks.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on innovation, emerging technologies, and regulatory compliance to support the company’s business goals.
  • Support the company in dispute management, enforcing rights and liaising with external counsel as needed.
  • Partner with various teams across the organization (commercial, finance, HR, R&D…), offering actionable legal guidance to facilitate smooth business operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and collaboration on legal matters, contract negotiations, and business agreements to support the company’s manufacturing and operational goals.
  • Engage in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives, strengthening legal competencies across the company, and general legal areas.

Profile

  • Recognized law degree in Luxembourg; an LLM, Master’s degree, or postgraduate qualification in IP law is a plus.
  • Registered attorney in Luxembourg (Liste I, II, or IV) will be advantageous.
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Corporate and/or Contract Law and knowledge in Intellectual Property law, with a strong interest in technology and an additional international experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and French; knowledge of German is advantageous.
  • You possess excellent drafting and negotiation skills, are commercially aware, and have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You are pragmatic, solution-driven, and focused on achieving optimal outcomes.
  • You are a team player with a positive attitude who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Your curiosity, creativity, and adaptability allow you to navigate complexity and ambiguity while delivering high-quality legal services.
